Background
TePe is a Swedish oral health company dedicated to inspiring good oral care habits for life. All product development and manufacturing take place in Malmö, where TePe works closely with dental professionals to create high-quality, sustainable solutions used in over 80 countries.
About the Project
TePe needed a company film that could introduce the brand globally with clarity and emotion. The goal was to present the company’s heritage, values and direction in a way that felt confident, modern and aligned with the brand strategy.
My Role
As Project Lead and Communications Specialist, I guided the story, tone and structure of the film, coordinated internal stakeholders, and ensured the production reflected TePe’s identity and purpose.
My process
Setting the foundation
Defined the scope and created a clear creative brief aligned with TePe’s brand strategy. This established the objectives and key messages before any visual work began.
Shaping the narrative
Developed the message flow using the Vision, the brand positioning statement and the brand drivers, giving the film a cohesive red thread.
Internal collaboration
Worked with TePe colleagues to identify the right on-camera participants and ensure the story represented the organisation authentically.
Visual direction
Together with the in-house creative team and the production company, co-drafted the visual brief and B-roll plan. This ensured a shared understanding of tone, framing and visual storytelling before filming.
Production coordination
Managed scheduling challenges with participants living abroad and the production company’s fixed 8-hour booking windows. Clear communication and direct coordination ensured all interviews and production elements came together smoothly.
Collaboration with the production company
Aligned early with the director through dialogue and reference films to secure a treatment and storyboard that matched the creative intent.
